• Entry to the giveaways is open for the entire month and will close on May 31st at 11:59pm EDT. The winners will then be determined and announced during the first week of June.

• Each giveaway prize has it’s own entry form. Entering one giveaway does NOT enter you for all other prizes. You can find links to the entry forms to each giveaway prize below and choose which ones you would like to enter for a chance to win.

• Providing your name and email enters you into that specific giveaway. In addition to your name, please add your Instagram username in that box so we can be sure to find you there!

• Once submitting your information, you will see that there are ways to earn additional entry points to increase your chances of being chosen as the winner. NOTE: Upon entry, you will receive an email to confirm your entry and must do this to be eligible to win!

How the Giveaways work

The platform used to host these giveaways and keep track of entries randomly chooses a name, where the more entries increase the odds of being chosen. However, your participation in May for Makers is a large determination factor in your chances of winning. We want to be fair to those who have put in effort participating in this challenge by posting content based on the prompts and engaging with the community.

We know that it is a LOT of work to post daily content and you may not get every single day, which is totally fine! You are definitely still eligible to win a giveaway even if miss some days. But if you are just entering in hopes to win a prize and haven’t done anything for May for Makers, chances are you will not be selected as the winner.

So here’s how a winner will be selected for each giveaway:

• 5 names will be randomly generated and be considered a candidate for winning that specific giveaway.

• We will then check those accounts and rank them based on the number of posts dedicated to the May for Makers prompts. The one with the most posts will be chosen as the winner.

• The winner will be announced on Instagram by @andtheymake and @plsmithed where you’ll have 24 hours to reach out to us, claiming your prize.

• If we do not hear from the first chosen winner within 24 hours, the prize will move to the next in line of those 5 names originally chosen. In the event that all 5 accounts do not reach out to claim their prize, we will repeat the process until the prize is claimed.
